“There are two primary choices in life: to accept conditions as they exist,
or accept the responsibility for changing them.” ~ Denis Waitley
Wally had his first outing at the Wellington Dog Park. He made friends with a brother and sister duo, part Alaskan Samoyed, part coon dog, part something else. They were adorable at only six months old. While they were eager to run and play, like pups are wont to do, Wally seemed a bit overwhelmed. As more dogs were added to the pack, the more overwhelmed he seemed. We left, vowing to return until he understands that the dog park is not the pound. He had enough fun to require a bath, though. Ah, the smell of wet dog. Not my favorite, but it’s a small price to have a happy dog!
