“Life is tough, my darling, but so are you.” ~ Unknown

I think I forgot to mention some exciting news that happened on April 1. No fooling, this was pretty sweet. I was featured in the inaugural issue of Heartwood Literary Magazine. Though it is a literary magazine, they have a featured Appalachian arts section as well. That’s where you’ll find yours truly. I had to think through some of the questions they asked; some of the same questions that surfaced during the discussion on prayer with Lori-Lyn Hurley. It’s too bad Heartwood didn’t come first because I would have had my thoughts a little more organized for the discussion. No matter, I’m much further in my journey now than I was before either event took place, and for the both of them, I am truly, truly grateful. If you enjoy writing, are a writer, or you’re a fan of Appalachian arts, this is the magazine for you. I hope that it will enlighten your life a little, and bring you hours of enjoyment.
