The last two weeks have been quite taxing, even though my schedule has gotten much better. That doesn’t seem fair, does it? But there have been a lot of great things happening along the way, so that has made it bearable. I took the day off to get some much-needed personal stuff done but ended up at the office for four hours. So….not a day off. Thankfully, the first five hours of errands included much great conversation with Stacy and delicious food – twice! The errands took so long that we had breakfast and lunch. Tonight, I’m nursing heartburn (rare for me), but the car works, the government have gotten their annual bloodletting, the roof and garage are getting repaired shortly, the new insurance policies at the new agency got signed, mom gave me some clothes, and I’m going to bed early. All in all, not a bad day, but lordy, TGIF, and I’m glad for it all.
