“You may not always see the results of your kindness, but every bit of positive energy you contribute to the world makes it a better place for us all.” ~ Lisa Currie
I had the chance to go over to the Reynolds Building this morning. It’s now officially the Gray Design Building. The College of Design moved in last month (yes, in the middle of the semester), and this was the first time I’d had a chance to see the completed building. You might remember last summer when I had the chance to go through it with some other folks as it was under renovation. It is a brilliant redevelopment – adaptive reuse as it’s more formally called – of a much-loved and long-lived building. Plus, I got to see my advisor, Doug “Mr Happy” Appler who made my day, as he so often does when I see him. I count that as a win.
