“I was reminded of the Four Immutable Laws of the Spirit: Whoever is present are the right people. Whenever it begins is the right time. Whatever happens is the only thing that could have happened. And when it’s over, it’s over.” ~ Anne Lamott
The neighbors across the street and down a few houses have four kids and a cat. The kids don’t cross the street, but the cat has begun to. I’ve noticed the cat treks through my front yard and has done so a lot lately. On Sunday, I found out why. Neither animal freaked out or made a sound. They looked at each other for a good ten minutes before the cat walked away, and Sir Basil George Heybuddy Pogo went back to hiding his Milk Bone treats beneath his blanket, a favorite pasttime.
