Because dad had colon cancer and because it was discovered I had polyps while searching for what ended up being a bad gallbladder in 2013, I am strongly encouraged to do the ‘ol colon cleanse and dip every five to seven years. Covid pushed that back a couple of years. Those of a certain age know the prep is just this side of hell, but the propofol nap and the first meal afterwards is a glimpse of heaven on Earth and make up for it. My chauffeur and I ate like queens and highly recommend Winchell’s Blue and White Pancakes. You’re welcome. Also, if you’re of a certain age, from Eastern Kentucky, with a family history of colon cancer, do the dip. Self-care and prevention are very important for you and your loved ones. Just do it.
