Holiday lunch at Shakertown has quickly become a tradition for us, thanks to Laura Hall. The conversation, laughter, and camaraderie never disappoint. Plus, the food is always good, and unlike the Libraries’ holiday luncheon, Shakertown has coffee, which we all ordered with great fervour (and shock to the waitress). A lot has changed for most of us since last year’s gathering. It’s safe to say we’re all hoping for a better year, or at least one with much less upheaval. I sure needed these girls to help me eat through the holiday.
