I don’t believe we reached 19 today. We made it to 1, maybe 2. Lillie and I were shocked when I opened the front door to get the mail. She couldn’t see outside, and the front and back screen doors were frozen shut. It took some elbow grease to get them open. Pogo George Heybuddy was utterly terrified of the backdoor when it sounded like a horror movie sound effect. I had to pick him up and set him outside, only to see him look at me with panicked eyes without so much as a tinkle. He returned post haste, though he took a wide berth around the big, scary-sounding door. According to Facebook, Heybuddy was far from the only canine feeling the cold. I sense a lot of wee in houses in coming days.
