So…..yesterday didn’t go quite as planned. Fortunately, Lexington’s finest EMT’s were here lickity split to lend a hand and get our Hero to the antibiotics he needed. A little overnight stay at the VA and he was home in time for a late lunch today. I’m really so very, very grateful they’re here beside me so I can help, that Lexington provides more help when I need it, and the VA is able to patch him him up. It’s been a rotten year, and I still feel like the luckiest woman alive.
