I took Mom to an appointment today, and the registration desk was adorned with floor-to-ceiling balloons. Showing signs of deflation, they seem to have been up for a while, perhaps since Thanksgiving. Let’s hope they stay inflated until January 2 when the University of Kentucky world returns to work…except me. I was a smart girl this year and am taking a little extra time because this is the last big year to get through my HP degree and some big projects at work. I need my sleep, extra Wheaties, and a lot of patience.
