all that remains

I went to West Liberty for the crafter’s Bazaar, Christmas parade, and lighting of the city Christmas tree. Every time I go home there’s more and more missing. It’s like being in an alternate reality. To cut the sadness, I ran into some photo friends who asked about shooting at night. In the fog, the trees along the river now little more than sticks looked more like a movie set than home. The parade also happened at night, so I got lots of practice. I think I’ll shoot at night for a while. I see many ways to improve, and that’s a wonderful way to end a truly blessed day.
