Ya’ll, I’m starting to think it’s not the ice that has brought every turkey vulture in Kentucky to my street but something else. Coming home today, I approached the house five doors down from mine to find this scene. I pulled over and counted 58 vultures in one tree. You can see a woman beside the house for scale. As I drove on, I noticed three more trees in neighbouring yards that held an additional 30 vultures. What is happening? Is something dead, but I can’t smell it? Did they stop over during the ice storm and decide to stay? Do I believe animal symbolism that things are changing for the better? Somebody who knows something about vultures hit me up. What is happening? Meanwhile, Crystal Heis will probably never come to my house again after seeing this.
