“Nobody ever dies wishing they had worked more. Work hard, but don’t prioritize work over family, friends, or even yourself.” ~ Unknown
In July 2010, I drove dad (right) and Uncle James (center) to Bethel, Ohio to see their brother, my uncle Randolph (left). Randolph died of cancer a month later. There was just 14 months between dad and Randolph, and they were both over 20 years older than James. I love this photo because the juxtaposition between the oldest and youngest was beautiful to me, and I couldn’t recall ever seeing the three of them alone like this. It was a poignant moment. In this photo James is the age I am now. He will be assembled around a table with Randolph again very shortly, also due to cancer. I remain one of the the most blessed women in the world to share roots with such men as these. They really don’t make them like the Terry boys anymore. So much love and gratitude, words just don’t suffice.

There are no words that can express, the moment in time caught by one of my wonderful and very talented cousins. I love her just like I would a sister.
Likewise, Little brother. <3
