“Everything’s a risk. Not doing anything’s a risk. It’s up to you.” ~ Unknown

brrrrrr

Some people grow gardens. We’re growing icicles here in Kentucky. Storm #2 has passed, leaving behind 3″ of ice and 4.5″ of snow – so I’ve heard – and now we wait for storm #3 to descend upon us at some point tomorrow. I had to break icicles to get out the backdoor this morning. They nearly impaled me on the way down. Poor Wally out to do his business couldn’t get back to the house fast enough. It was beautiful watching it snow all day, but tonight the skies have cleared, releasing radiational heating into the atmosphere and temps have plummeted to a whopping 12 degrees Fahrenheit. Ah, winter. I remain ever grateful to thee people who have worked hard to keep our power on. One should never take it, or them, for granted.
