Sometimes, getting your pony shod takes most of the day. I hadn’t planned to spend my day with the car up in the air, but that’s how it worked out. And let me just say the sticker shock from the last times I had to replace the tires will require the giving of plasma and tin cans on my desk and porch for alms. I mean, I knew they’d gone up, everything has, but boy howdy, was I surprised. That said, I wouldn’t take anything for this car. She’ll be 20 years old in July, and for the most part, she still looks new. And she’s a brilliant car, so if the worst is spending an arm and leg every so often for tires, I’ll take it. One of the best buys I’ve every made.
