“I have an irrepressible desire to live till I can be assured that the world is a little better for my having lived in it.” ~ Abraham Lincoln
This young man – Adam Watkins – turned 18 today. The family gathered to wish him a happy birthday, catch up, and be in fellowship with one another. Adam graduated early from High School and is now embarking on a career in filmmaking. Somehow, he switched from forestry to filmmaker since I last saw him last summer, but whatever made him change his mind, I support. We had a great chat about cameras and filmmaking while waiting for dinner. I can’t wait to see what he does and how he grows as a creative. I’m super excited for him. It had been far too long since the family had gathered, and I’m grateful to Adam for allowing us all to use his birthday for such a happy occassion.
