My isolation has been hard for mom because it has made her somewhat isolated as well. She’s gone out to the grocery, had her hair done, gone to church, those kinds of things, but seeing someone daily hasn’t happened. That’s on me. She was warned to avoid being in a closed space with me for an additional ten days after my quarantine ended, except I continue to test positive – though the line is growing fainter – so the safety line keeps moving. We thought today was warm enough to have supper together on the deck. As you can see from mom’s layered garb, we overestimated that idea. Warm as it was, it wasn’t that warm in the shade, and we had to bundle up. But bundle up we did, and by ned, we had supper together in the safety of open space. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to run a hot tub of water and thaw out.
