“Lord, make us instruments of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let us sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is discord, union;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy.
Grant that we may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Amen.” ~ Prayer attributed to St. Francis

Finally, a day back in the office after a week away for snow. Crystal Heis came bearing gifts. She passed on a toy bought especially for Wally by her mom, Elaine. How sweet is that? This after Aunt Crystal gifted him about a half dozen squeaky thrills when he first came home in December. Do you think he will be spoiled? I think most certainly he will. Me and The Wallster are sure blessed to know these wonderful Heis women. By the way, as with 99.5% of outhouse posts, it is coincidence that today’s quote is from the Patron Saint of Animals, St. Francis of Assisi. The same that it is coincidence I chose a photo of Wally today. This is, of course, if you believe in coincidence. I generally do not.
