This dapper young gentleman is co-worker Matthew Strandmark. Class today met in Special Collections (it was a tough walk for me <insert sarcasm>). Matt and our co-worker Carol Street walked us through a variety of materials, how best to request others. It was really nice to see what Matt does because I’m not involved with instruction, so precisely what he conveys to students was insightful. Carol specializes in our architectural collections and she walked us through some wonderful examples. I think it tickled Carol and Matt to have me as a student rather than a colleague, and I had a really good time soaking up their goodness. This gets chalked up to a good day.
