Yesterday started with impressive thunderstorms, lightning galore and heavy, hard, blowing rain. It cleared by the time Mom and I drove to West Liberty. Despite the dreary, cold day, we had a wonderful time. We spent two hours with BFF Jill LeMaster grazing at the Chinese buffet in Morehead, and by graze, I do mean graze. I’ve never eaten as much at a buffet as I did yesterday, but the fellowship was worth every minute of pain I endured the rest of the evening. Plus, Cave Run Lake is picturesque in all weather.
