“The fears we don’t face become our limits.” ~ Unknown

ice, ice, baby

The ice storm predicted has finally arrived. The temps dropped sometime after 7 to start the freezing process. By 10p there appears at least 1/4″ of ice on everything, and it has no plans of stopping. Our power remains on for now, thank God and KU. The University has already closed tomorrow. The gas cans are filled. The food prepared. The water readied. And an evacuation plan is in place if the power goes off for an extended period. That’s really all that can be done. This is Central Kentucky in winter. Like it or not, it’s just part of the bluegrass process.
