I did something today I’ve never done. I got a pedicure. One of the gifts Shero gave me for Christmas was a gift certificate to her local nail salon. While I soaked my feet, she had her nails done. Afterwards, when we were in the car, she asked if I liked it. I didn’t know my toes were ticklish until today, so that was a little weird to discover at nearly sixty years old and not at all what I expected. But, yes, I enjoyed it. My feet feel great, and it was a beautiful day for Mom and me to continue celebrating her anniversary. We decided that since Dad can’t be here to celebrate it, we need twice as long to celebrate it properly. Mission accomplished.
