a wide snow
We had a small snow. In a winter when we’ve had more flowers than freeze warnings, that’s a big deal. I love the quiet that falls with every flake. Even a morning commute is somehow more tender and silent. I took my camera outside the main library. Between classes, when the kiddos were nestled all snug in their Starbucks and books, the view was as pristine as if it were a country pasture… except for the concrete and steel, of course.
