Give a girl an extra day off, and she’ll create a presentation for work and bake a loaf of sweet bread to share. The only pity is not getting an extra day every week. I’ve always been a proponent of the four-day workweek, and the older I get, the more I’m convinced that’s the right thing to do. I’m willing to bet everybody, not just me, would get a lot more done at work and home, and the overall national stress level would drop considerably. Quality of life, folks. That’s what it’s all about, or at least it should be.
