Last night Lexington had its third appreciable snow in two weeks. This one came with ice and frigid temps. Nevertheless, mom and dad’s house looks warm and safe because it is. Better inside than out, though. brrrrrrrr Still, I love winter. I always have. Mom and dad have said their house looks like the German houses they saw when they lived in Germany in the early 1960s. I can only guess they mean the half-timber houses that look a bit like a jigsaw puzzle. I like to imagine it looks even more German in the snow.
