Here’s what faith can do. For the first time in well over a week our Hero’s eyes were open, his color good, and his ability to speak beyond a whisper returned. Even his sense of humor was resurrected. He’s still unable to stand for any appreciable time or have enough strength to feed himself, but a few more days like today, and he’ll be right as rain. I am cautiously optimistic, but I remain eternally grateful for all your well wishes and prayers. Faith is a mighty, mighty thing.
