Any guesses what’s hanging on the top of these poles? It took me a while to figure it out. They’re bat houses. I’ve seen the squarish bat houses that people put around their houses and yards, but I have never seen bat houses like these. I don’t know how successful they are, I assume highly since they’ve been at McConnell Springs for years now. They’re weird though. Some might say they’re outstanding in their field. And on that sad joke, I bid you goodnight. Don’t let the….bats bite.
