“You are just the wheel of everything that goes right!” said Kakie Urch after our appearance on Mick Jeffries’ show last week. I haven’t been paid such a compliment since I don’t know when. Then, today, I opened a gift from Stacy to behold this gorgeous ceramic likeness of my sweet Lilly made by Rookwood Pottery in Cincinnati. From now on, there will be a black cat in my house, real or likeness or both, which makes me happy beyond belief. Add this to the mass of surprises (I’m looking at you, Jane Sommers), birthday cards galore, way too many delicious birthday calories, a billion birthday FB wishes, texts, and phone calls, and lunch with my work BFFs make me think I must be living right. I may or may not be the wheel of everything that goes right, but I sure feel like everything in my world is going that way. Thank you to everyone near and far, reading and not, for making this a great day in a great life.
