for the birds
If yesterday was all about music, today was apparently about birds. Crystal and I had lunch with the little house sparrow on the left, who had somehow made his way into the student center’s dining hall and feasted on dropped lettuce. I doubt he’ll ever leave the building, and why should he? Free food! When I got home, I received a card from my friend Jane Somers. She sent a birthday card, and on the card she drew these gorgeous little birds. They’re so adorable, I’ll find a suitable frame so I can enjoy them year-round. Celebrating one’s birthday for an entire month is highly recommended.
