Because I am the luckiest woman on the planet, I have an embarrassment of riches in the mentor department, and I’ve had lunch with two of them in as many days. I neglected to take a photo of Catherine Brereton yesterday, whose writing and editing skills are nothing short of brilliant. Still, I did manage to snap this pic of Kathryn Engle, who, moments later, gave me some critical advise about my thesis. I can go to either of these women and feel buoyed if I ever doubt my ability to write this thesis. An embarrassment of riches, I tell you. I hope I never take them for granted.
