“When I find myself in tough conversations, when I am being held accountable, when I am called to unlearn, relearn, or just learn,
this is my mantra:
I Am Not Here To Be Right.
I Am Not Here To Be Right.
I Am Not Here To Be Right.
I Am Not Here To Be Right.
I Am Here To Get It Right.
It’s been a game-changer. Less armor. More learning.” ~ Brené Brown

I really, really like Brené Brown and the way she looks at life. If you’re not familiar, Brown is a social worker and research prof. As she puts it, “I’ve spent the past two decades studying courage, vulnerability, shame, and empathy…The bottom line: I believe that you have to walk through vulnerability to get to courage, therefore . . . embrace the suck. I try to be grateful every day and my motto right now is “Courage over comfort.” I do NOT believe that cussing and praying are mutually exclusive. And, I absolutely believe that the passing lane is for passing only.” What’s not to love about that attitude? Embrace the suck.
