Neither Mom nor Judy had ever seen the Idle Hour Country Club fireworks, so off we went to join the family for the spectacle. They loved it, and rightfully so. The Idle Hour fireworks have always been so much better than the city’s fireworks. The crowd is smaller, the parking is easier, and everyone has good, clean fun. It was Kamden’s first Fourth of July and fireworks display. He seemed to like it. At least he wasn’t screaming and crying. Earlier in the day, we did a little grilling, and when Stacy arrived, we found we’d dressed alike. Not the first time that’s happened, and it always makes us giggle. To quote Stacy, the both of us in Y’all t-shirts mean “all y’all.” Hope all y’all had as good a day as we all did.
