Dad is a man of the woods and water. When he wasn’t working, he was either fishing or hunting ginseng or cutting trees. I suppose that was the closest to feeling free of all life’s responsibilities, which he bore pretty much from the minute he landed on this mortal coil. Now, he can’t even walk in the yard let alone the woods, but he loves the sun and he would sit outside until his skin burnt off the bone if mom would let him. Though he has more bad days than good, he does still have good days, and we are always so grateful for those. No matter what, he will always be the coolest dude in the universe. Happy Father’s Day to the coolest dude and the best dad I could ever want.
