There’s an area around a parking lot on campus that’s meant to be a catch drain for rainwater runoff. It was a nasty-looking pit for a while, but this year the wildflowers they planted a couple of years ago in and around the basin have really come to life, and they’re in full bloom right now. The pollinators are happy.
