I spend so much time at UK ER that I think they ought to put me on the payroll. For the summer solstice, I sprang Stacy from UK’s ER, where she’d been administered some heavy-duty blood pressure drugs earlier in the evening. Ageing is not for sissies. In any case, she’s okay now, and because it’s Solstice, we were treated to the sunset despite the late time of day. We even sat to watch a few fireflies (lightning bugs in my natural vernacular). I sure was happy to bring Stacy home where she belongs. She was pretty happy to go home, too.
