After dad’s funeral, we gathered for fellowship at Uncle Harold’s farm. Today, after Uncle Phillip’s funeral, we gathered at the cabin he and Aunt Linda have that overlooks Woodsbend. Before we began to disperse, we did the now obligatory group photo. If it looks like there is more in this photo than was in Dad’s, you’d be right. Yet, we’re still not all here. It’s a big family with a lot of moving parts. The funeral was perfect. The weather was perfect. The words were perfect. Dad and Phillip would have enjoyed it.
