I had the best day. Kevin Johnson (ball cap) and Crystal threw together a little party of us three old UK alum photogs and our friends from Transy, Lori and Ann. Lori happens to be married to one of UK Libraries’ best hires, Andrew McDonell. We met at West 6th Brewery for delicious Smithtown seafood (the best fish and chips in town) and exceptional camaraderie. It was exactly what I needed, and the weather was exquisite. It was so, so, so good to catch up with Kevin, talk old-school photography, and spend quality time laughing with everyone. I highly recommend these kinds of lunches on Friday. It’s a great way to start the weekend. Even the waitress was in a good mood (and gave us an excellent photo bomb).
