It’s not every day you walk out of the grocery to this, but it sure is fun when you do. I watched a parking lot of young and old stop in wonder. I put my cart away and the gentleman beside me said, “Did you see this?” as he focused on the sky. He was as giddy as a schoolboy. I said, “Yea, it’s awesome,” to which he exclaimed, “Yea, Awesome!” As I walked away the young man charged with collecting the carts had also stopped in the middle of traffic to take it in. No matter where we are, what we’re doing, or how varied our backgrounds may be, humans everywhere will stop to take in the glory of a rainbow as if we’ve seen it for the first time. That’s amazing.
