It was a wildly successful Appalachian Studies Association conference that ended with a pretty darn successful presentation on my thesis topic. I busted a move back to Lexington to play a gig with Golden Alert, so even though my day isn’t done, I gotta do my post now because I’ll be lucky if I’m home by 2 am. I feel certain the night will be as fun as the day. I mean, really, how lucky am I that I get all my scholarly beloveds and ma boyz on the same day? Pretty darn lucky, I’d say.
