Golden Alert was at the Green Lantern last night. It was a mixed bag of success and failure for the band, but I had a blast no matter what. Every time we play a gig I feel more like myself. I get stronger, and my stamina gets better. Of course, I awoke this morning sore as can be in my upper body. Stella’s groove is coming back but it’s taking some work. That said, it’s work I’m willing to do and I can’t think of five guys I’d rather play with more than ma’boyz. We’re a work in progress, but oh, the journey is fabulous.
