After a third day of rain (the first two being the past two Saturdays), much of the snow has finally melted just in time for tomorrow’s flood and winter storm. We’re expected to get up to 2″ of rain then 12″ of snow, wet snow this time, which means power outages. This will then be followed by an extreme dip in temps to the single digits. It was sixty degrees this evening when Wally and I took a stroll around the block. I was sweating. Ah, Kentucky. How I love thee, and thy capricious weather ways. Wally, on the other hand, would prefer grass full time. In fact, all the monkeys in the snow would prefer grass at this point. Meanwhile, I’ve got good books, plenty of food, and a safe, warm home. Bring on the snow.
