My mother has had a very rough year, so I’m lucky I got to see her for the tiny thirty minutes I had with her today. She came to my house to look after Wally while I’m traveling. Now that I have him, it’s not as easy to leave for work or vacation. I’m grateful mom was able to help me out, and that she genuinely wanted to. She has always had my back. She has always been eager to help. I’m the luckiest woman I know on this Mother’s day.
