I was searching for something to listen to this morning when I came across this disc. It’s the 2000 version of a mix tape with all Texas artists singing songs about Texas. Even Big Tex on the front is a staple of Texas. For the life of me I do not remember who gave me this CD. I don’t remember when they gave it to me. The handwriting on the disc itself I don’t recognize. II asked the people of facebookland if they would own up to giving it to me. Nada. Bev Howell, the one hippy chick I would have voted most likely to make such a disc? Nope. Not her. I don’t remember who you are, but I sure do love you for thinking of me and I’m loving the tunes all these years later.
