“Don’t ever let anyone tell you fairy tales aren’t real. I drink a potion made of magic beans every day, and it brings me back to life.” ~ Nanea Hoffman
When I was a kid in the 1960s and 1970s, this type of bulky light switch was common. I would love to know more about this light switch. Who knows what it’s called and the era in which it was most widely used in Kentucky?
Addendum: This is a Leviton Bakelite Single Pole Surface Toggle Switch. The history of Leviton is pretty awesome; an immigrant with an idea and a lot of hard work. The company is not only still in business, but they’re also thriving. Thank you Stacy and Deb for the leads.
