Dean Doerrfeld was one of the first friends I made at VAF. Here he was taking a rest from the heat in Comfort, Texas, a small hill country town built by German immigrants that we visited last Thursday. If you’ve never been to Comfort, you should go. I could totally retire to this little town. It’s close enough to San Antonio to get anything you need, close enough to Luckenbach to get anything to drink, and far enough from everybody to find the peace you crave. Which do you prefer: black and white or colour?
