The youngest guest and star of the Cinco de Derby fiesta was Abby. She enjoyed chips at the world’s briefest party – 3 hrs (less for latecomers). She cheered mightily as her horse (and mine) won – I’ll Have Another – we all yelled! 15 people showed up to my first, and maybe only, party at the Springridge Lodge. I’ve got more leftovers than I know what to do with. Annie Bassoni took the prize for the most creative Derby hat. The rest of us watched Sandy Davis (below) teach Abby how to take quality photos around the yard. It was VERY sweet. I’m so blessed to have such glorious people in my life. It’s not every girl that has the uber-cool people come to her party.
