Abigail Bartlett starts high school tomorrow. Let that sink in as you look at this adorable pic of her when she was just five years old at my first Derby party in 2012. Or this from a surprise office visit in 2013. She was six. Or this one from her eighth birthday party in 2015. High school. Tomorrow. Her mom and I took her to Bangkok House for a celebratory lunch today. I’m thrilled to have her in my life. This time reminds me so much of Kate Gibson’s growing up. It gives me the warms all over.
