“What you repeat, your heart begins to believe. If your mind stays in complaint, it slowly trains your soul to see more of what’s missing. Gratitude doesn’t ignore the hard… it simply refuses to let it have the final word.” ~ Unknown
I was in West Liberty today doing a bunch of stuff, and one of those stuffs was delivering some artwork for an exhibit and hanging out with some of the most creative people I know, like artist Catherine Wells. I don’t see Catherine very often, but when I do, I always have the most interesting conversations. She’s a quiet, careful woman, so she thinks deeply about her words and her work. Turning this photo black and white actually detracts from the beauty and quality of the watercolor she created, but the mixed kelvin lighting in color was driving me nuts. Hopefully, she will forgive me for putting her in the best light. If you’re in or around West Liberty in the next two months, drop by the Wellness Center and have a gander at the work in the group exhibit. I’m mighty proud to be included.
