“We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures.” ~ Thornton Wilder

Thankfulness Day

Over the last several years many of the Terry family in Central Kentucky had become accustomed to spending Thanksgiving together at my Aunt Lois’ house. This year that wasn’t possible because, well – 2020 – when everything and nothing is possible all at once. Cousin Missy had the idea of a Zoom call just before we all settled in to our respective dinners. Four brothers and two sisters were able to make it, and for 10 minutes, all was right in our little corner of the world. As the saying goes, we zoom now so we don’t ICU at Christmas. From our little family to yours, I hope you had a stuffed, wonderful, safe day of thankfulness.

Giving Thanks
