Black Friday….while most folks were at the malls before sun up, Stacy and I drove north, kidnapped rental sister Kelly, and took in the Winterfest Art Show in downtown Covington. BFF Deb Chenault’s work once again stood out among the crowd (I didn’t grab a snap of her….I’m clearly slipping). This was followed by an incredible evening of jazz, homemade pasta at Chez Barnes with Kel, Craig (best cook ever), niece Cassie (coolest mom on the planet), and some of the best conversation I’ve had in a year. Having Kelly and Craig closer is an incredible blessing, and I adore having them nearby to spend time with more often. I love them, and Cass, from the bottom of my heart.
